In the modern workplace there is no place for companies that to not conform or comply to current Health and Safety standards. We at Royce operate a vigorous Health and Safety policy, with frequent updates, inspections, toolbox talks and training.
Our engineers are highly skilled in the installation and maintenance of all types of air conditioning, ventilation, heating, plumbing and refrigeration products, including awareness of the inherent safety risks. All engineers carry CSCS Skills cards, PASMA certificates and are trained in City and Guilds ‘Safe Handling of Refrigerants’, recently upgraded to C&G 2079, as per current Government legislation.
Approved method statements and risk assessments (RAMS) accompany any task. A copy of the RAMS for a particular task will always be approved by the client before work commences. A further copy of the RAMS will be kept here at our office and a further copy kept with the site engineers.
All company H&S safety documentation is supplied on electronic format to all customers, including Health and Safety Policy, Environmental Policy, RAMS and any further documentation required.
Whenever access equipment is required, all access equipment is hired from reputable hire companies and access towers are ‘Scafftagged’ as required. Steps are only used under a permit basis, requiring a separate RAMS.
All engineers are fully uniformed and operate from well equipped sign-written vans. Our vehicles are registered with the the greater London Low Emissions zone.
All staff carry full 5 point PPE equipment and are trained to use it. All staff are required to attend a Health and Safety update on a minimum of a yearly basis, which is carried out in our Head office at Haverhill by an independent Health and Safety Adviser as recommended by the HVCA.
We are proud of our Health and Safety record at Royce Group and look forward to maintaining our high standards in this field.
